A boiler website should read like a patient conversation with your most experienced technician. It explains the options, shows that you've done this work many times, and makes the next step obvious. Everything else is decoration.
What a boiler installer website needs
Short answer: a page per service, honest explanations of the choices, real job photos and contact options on every screen.
Boiler buyers usually arrive with a question rather than a decision. They want to know:
- whether a combi will keep up with their household's hot water use
- whether their existing radiators, baseboard or in-floor loops can stay
- what happens to the old chimney or venting when they switch to a condensing unit
- whether an electric boiler or a heat pump is worth considering
- roughly what this kind of job costs and how long it takes
A site that answers those questions earns trust before you set foot in the house. That's the approach behind CombiBoiler.ca and GasBoilers.ca, both built as boiler-first sites rather than general heating sites with a boiler paragraph.
Who it's for
Short answer: installers whose current site hides boiler work, loads slowly, or belongs to someone else.
You probably need a new site if:
- boilers appear only as a bullet on a "Heating" page
- a homeowner on mobile data waits and waits for your boiler page to appear
- you can't edit it yourself, or a former agency still controls it
- the photos are stock images of furnaces
If your current site is fast and you own it, we can often add boiler pages to it instead. The hydronic SEO page covers that route.
What's included
Short answer: the pages, the writing, the build and the hosting, at three package sizes.
| Package | Scope | Build time | Ongoing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | 5–7 custom pages | 2–3 weeks | $149/month hosting and maintenance |
| Professional | 10–15 conversion-focused pages | 3–4 weeks | $249/month hosting, maintenance and CRO |
| Enterprise | Unlimited pages and locations | 4–6 weeks | $449/month full management |
One-time prices are $3,500, $6,500 and $12,500 in Canadian dollars, plus GST/HST by province for Canadian clients. The pricing page explains how to choose.
Every package includes boiler-specific copy, phone-first layout, call, text and email buttons on every page, basic schema, and analytics. A typical Professional build for a boiler installer covers combi installation, boiler replacement, radiant floor heating, hydronic repair, an about page with your licences listed accurately, and a page per main service town.
Timeline
Short answer: two to six weeks depending on the package, assuming we get photos and technical review on time.
- Week 1: discovery call, service list, towns, brands, licences and photos gathered
- Week 1–2: page plan and copy drafted; your technician reviews the technical details
- Week 2–4: design and build, then a phone and speed check
- Launch week: redirects from your old site, analytics and call tracking connected
How results are measured
Short answer: the share of visitors who call, text or email, and how many of those contacts become booked estimates.
We track contact taps by page, so you can see that the combi installation page converts better than the radiant floor page, for example, and adjust. With lead tracking in place, we can follow those contacts through to installed jobs.
Mistakes to avoid
Short answer: hiding the phone number, writing for technicians instead of homeowners, and ignoring language rules.
- Burying contact options below long introductions. Put them at the top and repeat them.
- Technical overload. Homeowners don't need a lecture on primary-secondary piping. They need to know the system will be quiet, warm and reliable.
- Unverified licence claims. List only the licences and registrations you hold, as they appear on your regulator's records.
- English-only sites for Quebec customers. If you install in Quebec, the OQLF explains French-language requirements for commercial websites. French pages should be written or checked by a fluent French writer, not left to a machine pass.
Questions about ownership or timing are covered in the FAQ.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a boiler website take to build?
Our Essential package takes two to three weeks, Professional three to four weeks and Enterprise four to six weeks. The biggest delay is usually waiting for photos and technical review, so we ask for those at the start.
Do I own the website?
Yes. The domain, the content and the site belong to your company. Hosting and maintenance are a separate monthly fee, and you can move the site elsewhere if you leave.
Can you add brand and model pages?
Yes, if you are an authorised dealer or installer for that brand and can tell us what you actually stock and install. We don't build pages for brands you can't supply.
Will the site work on phones?
It's designed phone-first. Most boiler searches start on a phone, often from someone standing next to a cold radiator, so calling, texting and emailing are one tap away on every page.
